Project/Portfolio Manager
Role Context:
We offer a stimulating work environment with varying tasks within project management. You will, among other tasks, work to establish and maintain project plans, defining, understanding, communicating, and meeting the requirements of the customer and give assistance to team members for problem solving and, if necessary, training and guidance.
As most of our projects are executed in portfolio teams close to customer, we have the benefit of receiving constant feedback between design and execution and we currently are executing projects in nearly all the Nordic countries. You will have daily contact with people working in the projects and be one of the contact persons for our customers. When managing a project, you will be assigned a team from our extensive network with a high level of competence which will enable you to work together with multi-disciplines and departments to ensure timely execution of projects both safely and with high level of quality.
You will:
Ensuring that the overall activities of the project team are effectively planned and coordinated and that the individual members are working to and meeting detailed schedules.
Preparing and implementing Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Procedures
Ensuring the scope of work is well defined and understood and that any changes to the scope are to be finalized and agreed upon, both externally and internally.
Administration of the project contract and ensures that the appropriate team members are equally informed
Provide project management on various sizes of projects.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate efforts with support groups ensuring a quality on-time product for our customer and a financially successful project.
Provide technical support as part of an engineering team on projects as needed.
Project development - provide technical support for the development of projects (conceptual through final design and construction).
Lead and/or support proposal efforts being able to work with multiple disciplines and subcontractors for developing scope and competitive pricing.
Expand on relationships and workload with current customers and lead efforts in pursuit of new customers.

?You'll have:
Experience of FEED/ Detailed Design and EPCm/EPC or PMC projects and demonstratable experience in all project phases
Experience with directly managing vendors
Knowledge of other engineering disciplines.
Knowledge of international equipment specifications and codes.
Knowledge of standard international specifications and codes.
Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures.
Typically, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Chartered Status preferred.
Related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil & Gas or manufacturing Industry.
Ability to travel internationally on an as required basis

Role context:


As a Senior Planner in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry, you'll be key in planning and optimizing project schedules. Your duties include creating and updating schedules, managing risks, reviewing contractor plans, and using techniques to track performance. You’ll:
Create and manage engineering and construction schedules for projects at all stages, fostering teamwork and cooperation.
Utilize Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detailed project networks and schedules efficiently.
Identify risks early and propose solutions, prioritizing safety and success.
Review contractor programs and schedules in line with contract requirements, ensuring accountability and excellence.

You will have:
Preferably an engineering background
Extensive experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry
Familiarity with Office Package and Power BI
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project software

Som Administrative Assistant kommer du att spela en viktig roll i våra projekt genom att säkerställa att teknisk dokumentation hanteras korrekt, uppdateras enligt kundkrav och levereras i tid. Kvalifikationer
Minst 5 års erfarenhet varav 2-3 år av Projektdokumentation inom industi önskvärt.
Vana vid att hantera flera projekt och uppgifter samtidigt, samt att självständigt kunna prioritera och slutföra uppgifter.
Du bör vara öppen och flexibel då uppgifter kan variera.
Tjänsten kräver mycket god kommunikativ förmåga både i tal och skrift, samt hög känsla för service.
Språk: Mycket goda kunskaper i både Svenska och Engelska.

Role Context
Worley is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to join our onshore Nordic Construction Teams, supporting projects across the Nordic region. The role involves working closely with Project and Discipline Managers to provide ongoing construction input into design, scheduling, and estimating activities. This includes developing design packages aligned with construction, commissioning, and project schedule requirements, while considering operational and shutdown constraints. Depending on project awards, the role may transition to a site-based position for EPC or EPCm scopes.
Key Responsibilities
Drive early construction input into design (right-to-left delivery), ensure Execution Plan gate readiness.
Participate in contractor prequalification, tender reviews, and quality assurance plans; collaborate with vendors to ensure constructability and logistics compatibility of equipment.
Conduct modularization and pre-assembly studies, assess site establishment and logistics, and ensure safe, efficient construction methods compliant with statutory and client requirements.
Work with Planning to develop a resourced schedule, ensure timely design package releases, and manage scaffold, insulation, and lift requirements.
Lead in developing HSE plans, ensure all construction is compliant with company and client HSE/QC standards, manage MOC, and oversee inspection and audit processes.

Key requirements
Over 20 years of experience in industrial construction with in-depth knowledge of project hook-up, commissioning, and project management systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage complex construction processes from planning through to completion.
Demonstrated commitment to safety with a track record of HSSE leadership and a focus on delivering projects incident-free.
Deep understanding of how construction activities integrate with overall project execution, ensuring alignment from construction to commissioning and operations.

You'll be
Delivering process engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory speci?cations, on time and within budget.
Working on projects in a range of industry sectors, including sustainable energy, chemicals, petrochemicals, etc.
Performing process engineering services such as preparing project proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules; conducting process system designs; generating process deliverables including datasheets, reports, and drawings; contributing to project studies and reviews; providing assistance during procurement and construction activities; and identifying project risks and reporting changes to project scope.
Communicating effectively with the process engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
Acting as Process Engineering Lead on projects accountable for discipline resource management; technical competency; project execution; project deliverables; procurement support and site support.
Taking the role as Study Lead being responsible not only for the process scope but handling all the other disciplines in the studies.

You’ll have
A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent education.
Relevant engineering experience in the process industry or similar work experience.
Extensive technical and practical engineering skills and the ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its customers.
Extensive knowledge of applicable local regulations and standards as well as international standards and other statutory and regulatory speci?cations.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in leading positions.
A proactive and collaborative mindset with good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a project team environment.
Ability to adopt the Worley principles related to diversity and inclusion.
Fluent in both English and Swedish in speech and writing.

Although not required, the following will be considered highly advantageous:
Extensive experience in Process Design HSE such as Hazop/LOPA and other Safety reviews, Atex classification and Emissions, Discharges & Wastes Assessment
Driving license B

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our teams in Stenungsund and Kungälv. In this role, you will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and our customers, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You’ll lead project requirements, manage scope and procurement, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
You Will:
Lead mechanical engineering activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project requirements, and industry codes.
Provide technical guidance on Static, Rotating, and Package Equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps, dosing systems).
Manage project scope, changes, and procurement, including preparing requisitions, evaluations, and purchase orders.
Prepare design documents, specifications, and reports while monitoring project budgets, schedules, and staffing.
Coordinate with other disciplines during design, construction, and startup phases to ensure alignment.
Visit suppliers for meetings, testing, and clarifications as needed.
Communicate effectively with the team, stakeholders, and customers, providing leadership and mentoring to engineers to ensure high-quality work.

You Bring:
Extensive experience in mechanical engineering with a strong background in leadership and team management.
A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and relevant software.
In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards, especially related to pressure equipment and design (e.g., PED, ASME Sec 8 Div 1, EN13445).
Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects.
Excellent communication skills in English, with Swedish as a plus.
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Role context:

Work description:
You will be part of our Process department and work within all project phases from feasibility studies to execution phase. As many of our projects are executed close to customer sites, we have the benefit of receiving constant feedback between design and execution.
As Lead Process Engineer in execution projects you lead a team of process engineers and report directly to the project manager in larger projects.
As a Study Lead you lead a team in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options, optimization of selected design and inter-discipline coordination.
You are used to participate in safety review meetings and taking responsibility for both technical and administrative tasks.

Specific Accountabilities for Lead role:
Responsible to lead a team to deliver scope with quality, in time and within budget.
Coordinate with all resources available in the project including workshare resources from other countries.
Align with other disciplines in the project, as well as client stakeholders.
Process design responsibility during different project phases: Conceptual, Basic and Detail Engineering.
Development of P&IDs; and PFDs.
Process design engineering tasks, such as pump sizing, equipment sizing, line sizing, pressure relief calculations, control valve sizing, heat & material balances, material selection, control philosophies, functional descriptions.
Participation in HAZOP/ WHAT IF/ HSE reviews, as well as LOPA analyses.
Developing Safety Requirement Sheets in SIL projects.
Prepare proposals and work hour estimates for different project phases.
Discipline and Study Lead tasks also include progress measurement, forecasting, input to scheduling and monthly reporting.

Work description:
You will be part of our Piping department and you will work within all project phases from feasibility studies to execution phase. As most of our projects are executed close to customer sites, we have the benefit of receiving constant feedback between design and execution.
Responsibilities:
Deliver piping engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Perform piping engineering services such as:
- preparation of detailed design drawings, isometrics, specifications, data, calculations and reports;
- identify and report changes to project scope;
- assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules;
- provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions;
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in piping engineering.
- Communicate effectively with the piping engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.

- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Qualifications
A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent and:
- Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its Customers.
- A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of piping engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
- Competent use of piping engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office.
- Engineering experience in the same or similar industry.
Language
Swedish and English, fluent in speech and writing.

Vi på Worley Sverige AB söker nya kollegor till vårt team i Stenungsund/Kungälv. Här finns samtliga ingenjörsdiscipliner representerade för att driva EPCM-projekt, och en stor del av projekten genomförs lokalt hos oss, men också i resten av Sverige samt Norge och Finland.
Du kommer att ingå i vår Processavdelning och du kommer att arbeta inom alla projektfaser från förstudier till genomförandefas. Som Processingenjör utför du design- och ingenjörsarbete inom den petrokemiska industrin. Du har en viktigt roll i våra projekt och har ett nära samarbete med andra ingenjörsdiscipliner inom projekten. Dina arbetsuppgifter varierar beroende på vilken fas projekten är i och de flesta av våra projekt genomförs nära kunderna med fördelen av att få ständig feedback mellan design och utförande.

Som studieledare leder du ett team i utformningen av en processanläggning, inklusive upprättande av processdesign, utveckling av processalternativ, optimering av utvald design och multidisciplinär koordinering.
Som Lead Process Engineer i genomförandeprojekt leder du ett team av processingenjörer och rapporterar direkt till projektledaren i större projekt.
Du är van att delta i säkerhetsgranskningsmöten och ta ansvar för både tekniska och administrativa uppgifter.
Specifika ansvarsområden för lead rollen:

Work description:

As a Study Lead you lead a team in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options, optimization of selected design and inter-discipline coordination.
As Lead Process Engineer in execution projects you lead a team of process engineers and report directly to the project manager in larger projects.

Work description:
As Lead Instrument Engineer you will fulfill a crucial and leading role in our projects and also have a close cooperation with other engineering disciplines within the projects. As most of our projects are executed close to customer sites, we have the benefit of receiving constant feedback between design and execution.
You are part of our Instrument & Control department and you will have the following tasks;
Support P&ID; development; help maintain the P&ID;'s through the course of each project phase
Support development; help maintain the Instrument Index and I/0 List through the course of each project phase
Support development of engineering / design effort hour estimates
Develop instrumentation and control systems engineering / design scope of work documents for project
Support incorporation of control systems content into mechanical equipment vendor packages
Coordinate with process engineers to obtain process data for use in specifying tagged field instruments
Provide technical direction for selection of items to be specified or purchased, ensure compliance with customer requirements and standards, check specifications and requisition packages prepared by others
Prepare engineering calculations, specifications and requisition packages for inquiry and purchase
Prepare technical bid evaluations and make recommendations for purchase
Review vendor data to assure specifications and project requirements are met
Review long lead requisition package deliveries for compliance with schedule critical path
Develop instrumentation and control systems construction scope of work documents

Specific Accountabilities:

Qualifications

Computer experience Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.

As most of our projects are executed close to customers, we have the benefit of receiving constant feedback between design and execution and we currently are executing projects in nearly all the Nordic countries. You will have daily contact with people working in the projects and be one of the contact persons for our customers. When managing a project, you will be assigned a team from our extensive network with a high level of competence which will enable you to work together with multi-disciplines and departments to ensure timely execution of projects both safely and with high level of quality.
Job Duties include:
Ensuring that the overall activities of the project team are effectively planned and coordinated and that the individual members are working to and meeting detailed schedules.
Preparing and implementing Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Procedures
Ensuring the scope of work is well defined and understood and that any changes to the scope are to be finalized and agreed upon, both externally and internally.
Administration of the project contract and ensures that the appropriate team members are equally informed
Provide project management on various sizes of projects.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate efforts with support groups ensuring a quality on-time product for our customer and a financially successful project.
Provide technical support as part of an engineering team on projects as needed.
Project development - provide technical support for the development of projects (conceptual through final design and construction).
Lead and/or support proposal efforts being able to work with multiple disciplines and subcontractors for developing scope and competitive pricing.
Expand on relationships and workload with current customers and lead efforts in pursuit of new customers.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
15+ Years Experience;
BS or MS degree and a professional registration or license are preferred; An advanced degree and professional registration are preferred
Minimum of 8 years performing project work as a project manager with a firm understanding and experience in applying project management tools and best practices
Leadership and staff development experience
Highly motivated self-starter
General understanding of and able to interpret and apply company, owner and industry regulations, codes and standards
Computer proficiency

Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer
Project Management Professional
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence others and develop strong internal and external relationships
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues on multiple projects
Strong team skills complemented with a strong work ethic
Have an education within engineering or equivalent working experience
Have experience working as a project manager within large EPCm projects (50 MEUR in TIC)
Fluent English in speech and writing.

Work description:
As Cost Estimator you will be a part of the Project Control Department. One of your most important tasks are supporting clients within the process or petrochemical business line. Cost estimates are compiled of labor and material cost for a range of disciplines such as civil, construction, electrical, instrument, mechanical, piping, procurement, process and project services. As a Cost Estimator you will report directly to Manager of Project Control.
Specific Accountabilities
Analyzes specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material or sample layouts
Calculates costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data
Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors and vendors
Computes cost estimates of raw materials or subcontracted work and labor
Prepares and maintains historical cost data
Creates cost models for estimating elements
Prepares cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
A technical background within engineering and an education of minimum bachelor’s degree.
At least five years of experience as an engineer within the petrochemical industry
You have experience with estimating larger projects.
Good knowledge in Microsoft office, primarily Excel.
Swedish and English, fluent in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have worked with AspenTech system and Monte Carlo risk simulations.
As a person you have a systematic approach to planning, prioritizing and performing tasks.
You are also an analytical person who like to have things in great order. You are structured and have the capability of handling multiple information from different discipline. You are striving for the best solution. Being a team player is important, but when needed, you have no hesitation in taking the role of team leader. You also have a great interest in developing more efficient ways of working.
